Peña Juan Breva (Málaga)

Founded in 1958 in Málaga by a group of enthusiasts led by Francisco Bejarano, Peña Juan Breva is one of the oldest flamenco societies in Spain and a global reference in the flamenco world. True to its founding principles—learning, preserving purity, and teaching flamenco—it organizes over 130 annual activities, including study sessions, performances, congresses, competitions, and open classes for the public. It is also home to the Flamenco Art Museum, housing more than 5,000 unique pieces, and the only specialized flamenco documentation center and library in the world, dedicated to the preservation, digitization, and dissemination of arte jondo.
