Flamenco Real
Single performance 8.00pm - Teatro Real de Madrid
Doors open 7.30pm
Duration approx. 60 minutes
Synopsis of the show
Esencias presents the poetry of Federico García Lorca and the epic adventures of Don Quijote de la Mancha. It is a journey of discovery through the traditional palos of Flamenco, where the Soleá and the Cantes Minero-Levantinos awaken the purest essence of this millenary art. The guitar, the power of the singing and the grace of the dancing, will take you to explore the very roots of the passion and emotion that characterize Flamenco.
“Ricardo is pure music, without stridency. The mere vital need of the human being to express pain, fear, melancholy, rage and happiness. There is nothing else in his art. To what has been said, which is the important thing, conditions, compass, timbre beauty, sense of musical phrase and knowledge of styles are added.” – SO-LA-NA-.
