El Yiyo, dance<\/strong><\/p>

Miguel Fern\u00e1ndez Rivas, \"El Yiyo,\" (Badalona, 1996) is the great revelation of contemporary flamenco dance. Born into a Roma family of Ja\u00e9n origin with no artistic tradition, he was discovered at age seven at a family gathering by a dancer who encouraged his training. That same year, he made his debut in Taiwan with Flamenco puro<\/em>, before more than 1,500 spectators, marking the start of a career that would take him to stages across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. His dancing, intensely raw and deeply rooted, combines a wild power in his footwork with an elegance and duende that trace back to the purest Roma tradition. He has shared the bill with Estrella Morente, Miguel Poveda, Farruquito, Eva Yerbabuena, and Joaqu\u00edn Cort\u00e9s, and crossed over into pop through the music videos Pa que brille<\/em> by C. Tangana and Mala Suerte <\/em>by Lola \u00cdndigo.<\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Cynthia Cano, dance<\/strong><\/p>

Cynthia Cano (Murcia, 1993) is a dancer and journalist, recognized for her artistic personality, expressive power, and ability to blend tradition with contemporary style. At just eight years old, she won the national competition Veo veo, launching a career that has taken her to represent Murcia and Spain on stages across Europe, the Americas, and Africa. A graduate with highest honors from the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de Murcia, she has been principal dancer with the Lo Ferro flamenco ballet company, of which she is now co-director. Throughout her career she has worked with masters such as el G\u00fcito, Javier Latorre, and Joaqu\u00edn Grilo, and since 2022 has been part of Carlos Rodr\u00edguez's company. As a creator, she has developed her own shows such as Illo en mi colmao<\/em>, De Alfa a Omega<\/em>, Bailaora de post\u00edn<\/em> and Locas mujeres<\/em>.<\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Pe\u00f1a Flamenca de Ja\u00e9n<\/strong><\/p>

Founded in the late 1960s, the Pe\u00f1a Flamenca de Ja\u00e9n is one of the most important cultural institutions in Andalusian flamenco. Born from the drive of enthusiasts and scholars, it has stood out both for its work promoting the art form and for its contribution to flamenco thought and research. The organization has preserved and promoted Ja\u00e9n's rich flamenco heritage, particularly linked to the mining cantes of Linares and the local tradition of singers, guitarists, and enthusiasts. Its magazine Candil, published since 1978, is considered a reference publication for the quality of its studies, articles, and research work. Thanks to its ongoing cultural activity, the pe\u00f1a has established itself as an essential space for the preservation, study, and future projection of flamenco art.<\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
