Fuensanta, la Moneta, dancer<\/h3>

Fuensanta, la Moneta, (Granada, 1984) is one of the most distinctive and powerful female dancers in flamenco today. Born in the Zaid\u00edn neighbourhood, she trained with masters such as Mario Maya and Juana Amaya. Her style combines roots and avant-garde, tradition and personal exploration, with intense, intuitive and emotional body language. She has directed and starred in shows such as Bailar, vivir, Lo que trae el aire <\/em>or Granada solo tiene salida por las estrellas, <\/em>performed on stages across Europe, America and Asia. She also runs the La Moneta flamenco school in her hometown, where she trains new generations of artists. With a consistent and daring career, La Moneta represents the living continuity of Granada flamenco, and her presence on stage is always an affirmation of duende, freedom and authenticity.<\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Jos\u00e9 Ferm\u00edn Fern\u00e1ndez, guitar<\/h3>

Jos\u00e9 Ferm\u00edn Fern\u00e1ndez (Granada, 1989) is one of the most outstanding flamenco guitarists of his generation. Born in Iznalloz, he grew up surrounded by flamenco and began playing the guitar as a child. He has been awarded some of the most important prizes in flamenco guitar, such as the Bord\u00f3n Minero at the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas (2019) and first prize at the Concurso Nacional de Arte Flamenco de C\u00f3rdoba (2016), among others. Throughout his career, he has accompanied great figures in singing and dancing, and has also shone as a soloist on national and international stages. His rhythm and versatility have made him an ideal accompanist for artists such as Fuensanta, la Moneta, with whom he shares a deep and sincere artistic affinity.<\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Pe\u00f1a La Plater\u00eda (Granada)<\/h3>

La Plater\u00eda, founded in 1949 in Granada by silversmith Manuel Salamanca Jim\u00e9nez, is considered the oldest flamenco club in Spain and the world, and has been instrumental in preserving and promoting pure flamenco. Created as a meeting place for fans of this art form, it has inspired the creation of numerous clubs both inside and outside the country. Its stages have been graced by great figures of flamenco, and its programme includes shows, recitals, conferences, exhibitions and the newly created Flamenco Film Festival (2024). It also promotes educational initiatives such as \u201cFlamenco in the Classroom\u201d and maintains a valuable historical archive and museum. Among its distinctions is the Faena m\u00e1s Jonda trophy, which links flamenco with bullfighting.<\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
