Eduardo Guerrero, dance

Eduardo Guerrero (Cádiz, 1983) is one of the most powerful names in contemporary flamenco today. Trained since the age of six alongside masters such as Mario Maya, Antonio Canales, and Manolo Marín, he graduated in Spanish Dance from the Conservatorio de Cádiz and furthered his training in classical and contemporary dance. He danced with the companies of Eva Yerbabuena, Rocío Molina, and Javier Latorre, which took him to stages such as the Bolshoi in Moscow and the Guggenheim in New York. Since 2011 he has built his own career as a creator with shows such as Guerrero, Faro, Jondo or Bailar no es solo bailar and has been honored with the Premio Desplante at the Festival de las Minas, the Lorca Award for best performer, and the title of Gaditano del Año (Person of the Year from Cádiz). The magazine Dance Magazine included him among the 25 to watch leading international figures. His dancing, described by critics as "Picasso-esque," combines refined technique, intensity, and an expressive power that make him an undisputed reference point in avant-garde flamenco.

Pino Losada, guitar

Diego Antonio Fernández Montoya, known artistically as "Pino Losada," (Madrid, 1983) is a flamenco guitarist from the prestigious Losada dynasty. He began playing at six alongside his father, Diego Losada, growing up in an environment deeply connected to flamenco. Throughout his career he has become a regular guitarist for major figures in dance, including Joaquín Cortés, Antonio Canales, Farruquito, Eduardo Guerrero, Manuel Liñán, Olga Pericet, Patricia Guerrero, and Jesús Carmona. He has performed at landmark venues such as the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Teatro Real in Madrid. In 2023 he received the Guitarra con Alma award at the Festival de Jerez. His playing blends tradition, sensitivity, and a distinctive artistic personality.

Bienal de Flamenco de Madrid

Created in 2025 by the Madrid City Council and artistically directed by dancer and choreographer Ángel Rojas, the Bienal de Flamenco de Madrid was launched with the aim of strengthening the capital's role as one of the great international centers of flamenco. Its first edition brought together leading artists such as Farru, Marco Flores, Eduardo Guerrero, Vanesa Coloma, and Sara Calero in landmark venues across the city. In addition to performances, its program included workshops, lectures, conferences, and master classes aimed at both professionals and the general public. Thanks to its ambitious artistic and educational program, the Bienal established itself from the outset as a key event for the promotion, gathering, and international projection of flamenco art.
