TRICIA EVY QUARTET
This quirky trio is formed to pay tribute to the genius composer George Gershwin, one of the cornerstones not only of jazz music, but of 20th century music history.
Always in the key of jazz and using improvisation and constant communication between the three to create creative and lively music, the trio uses many of the great songs of the great New Yorker to enjoy and to develop their own improvisations on them.
Some of the songs used are "Summertime", "Nice work if you can get it", "My man's gone now", "But not for me", "I loves you Porgy", "Someone to watch over me" and so many other wonderful melodies and inspired harmonies by Gershwin, most of them with lyrics by his also great brother Ira.
FEDERICO LECHNER
The American singer Randy Greer is undoubtedly one of the most solid male jazz singers on the international scene. Gifted with an exceptional voice, he is considered one of the few inheritors of the vocal style of the inimitable Nat King Cole, which Greer recognizes as his greatest influence along with Cab Calloway, Billy Eckstine and others. Grandson of Duke Ellington's drummer Sonny Greer, it's no wonder Randy grew up in a family with clear musical inclinations. Greer has an extensive discography to his name, including the albums made with the trio of guitarist Robin Nolan, the Barcelona Jazz Orchestra and the Catalan pianist Ignasi Terraza.
