Sonia Miranda, singing

Sonia Miranda (Seville, 1974) is a cantaora known for her great sensitivity and profound knowledge of the classical flamenco repertoire. Trained at the Fundación Cristina Heeren, she studied under masters such as José de la Tomasa and Naranjito de Triana. Her career began after winning awards in prestigious competitions including Lo Ferro, Córdoba, La Unión, and Sanlúcar. Since then, she has performed at festivals such as the Bienal de Sevilla, the Festival de Jerez, Suma Flamenca, and numerous peña circuits in Spain and abroad. She has also appeared on stages in New York, Berlin, Miami, Lille, and Utrecht. Her discography highlights Garabato (2006), awarded by specialized critics, and Casita del panaero (2012), an intimate tribute to her roots. Her singing is characterized by purity, stylistic mastery, and a serene expressiveness that connects with tradition through emotion.

Aitana Rousseau, dancer

ChatGPT Plus Aitana Rousseau Cañadas (Almería, 2000) is a bailaora who began her training in childhood at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Kina Jiménez in Almería and later at the Centro Andaluz de Danza in Seville. In 2019, she joined the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía, participating in Naturalmente flamenco, which premiered at the Festival de Jerez. That same year, she joined the National Ballet of Spain, where she has been part of the corps de ballet in productions such as Electra, Invocación,

Centenario Antonio Ruiz Soler and La Bella Otero. In 2023, she made her debut as a guest lead in the latter production at the Teatro Circo de Albacete. Her dance—elegant, precise, and full of presence—combines technical solidity with mature expressiveness, establishing her as one of the emerging figures in contemporary stage flamenco.

Peña El Taranto (Almería)

Peña El Taranto, founded in Almería in 1963 by figures such as Rafael Monterreal and Niño de Álora, is one of the oldest and most prestigious flamenco societies in Spain. Since its inception, it has played a key role in the preservation and promotion of arte jondo. Its annual program includes recitals, flamenco masses, the Pregón Flamenco, and the emblematic Semana Flamenca. The peña awards honors such as the El Taranto Trophy and the award for the best accompanying guitarist. Among its numerous recognitions are the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts (2019), the Manolo Sanlúcar International Prize (2024), and the Gold Medal of the Almería City Council.

Access to the hall will open 30 minutes before the start of the show.
